"WW-B Dahl Bluestem" --- (Click here to see our B Dahl information page)

We are pleased to now be able to provide this proven variety of Old World Bluestem. WW-B Dahl is a very high yielding, very high quality, and highly palatable bluestem. WW-B Dahl has very high leaf to stem ratio, and performs very well on low rates of fertilizer (50 lb. N/acre). Please contact us if you are interested in trying this grass this Spring.

"SunGrazer Annual Tetraploid Ryegrass" --- Superior new ryegrass with fast germination and early growth. (Click here to see our SunGrazer information page)

Pogue Agri Partners is pleased to announce our new line of annual ryegrass. With fast germination, excellent early growth, good cold tolerance, high yields and superior rust resistance, SunGrazer will become the New Name for ryegrass in South Texas and the entire Gulf Coast.

"SunGrazer Plus Annual Tetraploid Ryegrass" --- The Newest ryegrass developed from a cross with ryegrass collected from Mexico for superior adaptability to the arid Southwest. (Click here to see our SunGrazer Plus information page)

SunGrazer Plus Annual ryegrass is the newest improved variety of tetraploid ryegrass. Pogue Agri Partners will be able to offer only a limited supply of this new variety for the 2003-04 Fall thru Spring growing season. SunGrazer Plus was developed from a cross with a plant collected from the semi-arid region of Mexico.

"Jemalong Barrel Medic" --- An excellent Cool season annual medic (clover), which after being absent from the market is back again for the 2003-04 Fall thru Spring growing season. (Click here to see our Jemalong information page)

Jemalong is back after being off the market for a year. Pogue Agri Partners will have limited quantities of this proven legume for the 03-04 growing season. Jemalong is an excellent reseeding medic(clover) for both livestock and wildlife. After successfully setting seed, this legume will persist for years, providing high protein quality feed during late Fall thru Spring. Jemalong tends to work well in somewhat sandier soils than our Armadillo variety. In variable soils, Jemalong can be mixed with Armadillo to provide a better chance for a successfull legume stand.

"Later Grazer" --- A Late Maturing Sorghum-Sudan Hybrid
(Click here to see our Later Grazer information page)

This hybrid boasts significant yield advantage over photoperiod sensitive varieties. Unlike the photoperiod sensitive varieties, Later Grazer can be sown at any day length which is extremely valuable in South and Central Texas and Northern Mexico, because it will allow this variety to be planted earlier in the Spring to take advantage of soil moisture that is often available at this time of year. Photoperiod varieties must be planted later in the Spring at a time when soil moisture tends to decline.

Later Grazer is 25 to 30 days later in maturity than typical hybrids, thus allowing up to 25% more yields without sacrificing quality. Digestibility of Later Grazer can be up to 20+% greater than other commercially available hybrids.

This conventional sorghum-sudangrass with delayed maturity has exceptional drought resistance, high green leaf retention, excellent tillering and regrowth capacity, and excellent standability.

"BeeWild™" Native Bundleflower --- A Warm Season Perennial Legume for Wildlife and Livestock (Click here to see our Bundleflower information page)

This is one of the only true perennial warm season forage legumes adapted to South Texas. Unlike Illinois Bundleflower, our Bundleflower blend is very adapted to South Texas and Mexico. Our Native Bundleflower will arguably be the best summer growing plant for wildlife foodplots in South Texas ever. Please click on the link above for more information on this exciting new variety.

Spotted Burr Clover --- A Cool Season Annual Legume adapted to lower pH and sandy soils (Click here to view a few pictures: pic1 , pic2 , pic3)

We are currently evaluating a very exciting annual legume that is adapted to the sandier, lower pH soils of East Texas all the way to Florida. Like Armadillo Burr Clover, this annual medic is outstanding at reseeding and persisting for years, and will be an excellent choice for both livestock and wildlife. We will update information on this new variety as we get closer to producing enough seed to put on the market.
